Regulation that mandates firms to produce sustainability reports is increasing, especially in the EU, where they are requested to produce a set of standardized disclosures on how they manage the social and environmental impacts of their activities. This situation increases the costs for companies, as most of them are not familiar with how to produce sustainability information, particularly those that have recently been included within the scope of the EU regulation. The objective of this project is to develop an online software that will help firms produce sustainability reports and guide the assurance process for those professionals providing this service. The ultimate goal is to reduce the burden of companies and assurors so that they can comply with sustainability reporting regulation in a simpler and more efficient way, reducing their costs and allowing them to allocate their resources better.
