The Universidad de Valladolid is a public university founded in 1241 with four campuses: Valladolid, Palencia, Soria and Segovia. It has 24 faculties and schools, 88 undergraduate degrees and 16 double degrees, more than 60 official Master's degrees, together with 29 PhD programmes.
In the last three years it has filed an annual average of 19 patent applications with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office. They have applied annually for 9 international patents and have signed 3 licensing contracts. They have also registered 6 new computer programmes and applications. They have also contributed to the formation of 3 EBTs annually.
