The university is present in the municipalities of Ourense, Pontevedra, and Vigo, with three specialized campuses hosting over 30 centers for education and research, as well as facilities for sports and leisure, featuring a continuous cultural program. The institution is also home to the International Excellence Campus, Campus do Mar, led by the Universidade de Vigo and bringing together over 3000 researchers, forming a cross-border network of research and knowledge with the sea as a driving force.
Across our campuses, students can pursue 121 undergraduate and official master's degrees, 7 combined degree programs, 39 doctoral programs, and four degrees with mutual credit recognition agreements with foreign universities. Additionally, we offer numerous language programs, events, workshops, and courses, including a program for seniors.
The Universidade de Vigo has been built on deep positive values, rooted in transparency and good management, integration, equality, diversity, and respect for the environment. We emphasize specialization and quality research, and as an institution committed to the social and economic environment, the transfer of knowledge to society is central to us. We strive to ensure that research continually contributes to social development.
