José María Blasco Ruiz holds a dual degree in Economics (specializing in Public Economics) and Business Administration (specializing in Finance) from the University of Zaragoza. Member of the Senior Corps of State Trade and Economic Technicians since 2008. Has served as Economic and Commercial Counselor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Singapore and in Tel Aviv. At ICEX Spain Export and Investment, he held the position of Director of Infrastructure, Healthcare, and ICT from September 2021 until his appointment as Executive Director of Growth and Competitiveness in September 2024.
