Juan Cruz Cigudosa is a leading researcher and expert in genetics, specialising in the study of cancer and hereditary diseases. With a degree in Biology from the University of Navarra and a PhD in Science from the Autonomous University of Madrid, he has focused his career on research into the human genome and personalised medicine. He is currently Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Universities, a position from which he promotes policies to strengthen scientific research, technological innovation and university development in Spain. He has led numerous research projects and is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, consolidating his position as a key figure in the advancement of biomedicine and technology transfer.
